Ventures Glacier Hike - Lotschenpass hutte

The two day Lotchenpass route to 2690m is a high mountain pass connecting Kandersteg to the Canton of Berne to Ferden in the Canton of Valais. This alpine crossing, used since pre-historic times, is one of the oldest in the Alps and has been used as a trading route for salt, kitchen spices and even cattle.

Taking a break on the way up the hills

A fantabulous view of the walk along the river
Taking yet another break after the winding path through the forest
Smiles of relief on every bodies faces after finally reaching the hut!
Taking in the view! (Excuse for a break)

What's that smell!?!
Oh that's what it is!
